FINAL RELEASE OF THE 61st EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF ARSEL

The sixty-first (61st) extraordinary session of the Board of Directors meeting of the Electricity Sector Regulatory Agency (ARSEL), held at the UNITED Hotel in Yaounde, on the twenty-eight of March, 2025, presided over by Mr. AWALA WODOUGUE, Administrator, representing the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon.  The General Manager, Mr. Jean Pascal NKOU, assisted by Mr. Honoré DEMENOU TAPAMO, Deputy General Manager, ensured the secretariat of the meeting.

This extraordinary session devoted essentially to the adoption of the draft Staff Regulations, also examined the proposed reclassification of certain ARSEL staff.

The members of the Board of Directors carefully followed the presentations made by Management and after fruitful discussions, have validated, the draft Staff Regulations and the reclassification of certain ARSEL personnel.

The Board members were briefed on issues concerning the electricity sector in general and those specific to ARSEL.

Finally, the Board of Directors congratulated the General Manager and his team for the clarity and good quality of the documents submitted, as well as the smooth running of the Agency.
